When you’re stretched thin..
at that point, when one broken piece could collapse it all,
You might feel like exerting control.
Yet there’s a simpler move.
Instead of gripping tighter,
what if you could let go?
What do you depend on to feel okay?
Why do you need that?
How come that need is there?
Getting entangled in a net of what feels like it must be held together,
can drive you to pay a high price.
Fragility that may be a symptom,
of dependencies stacked one upon the other.
A crumbling pillar keeping the floor up.
Imposing, controlling, inherently increases dependency.
Tightens the snare.
One push and things might collapse.
Inversely, reducing just one dependency,
can let the system breathe again.
Look for what seems inherent.
Something small.
Even imagining that is a step toward power.
Here’s a diagnostic sequence to make that easier.
If this failed, how could you adapt instead of collapse?
